Dayan Krishnan

Mr. Krishnan is a Senior Advocate of Supreme Court and Delhi High Court. He is a graduate of first batch of India’s first National Law School in 1993 and the second NLSIU Banglore alumnus to have been designated as a Senior Advocate by Delhi High Court. After completing Law he worked with Senior Advocate Santosh Hegde and setup his own practice in 1999. He worked on several high profile matters like 2001 Parliament Attack, Kaveri river water dispute, telecommunication cases etc. and also worked with 1999 J.S. Verma Commission. He was the special Public Prosecutor in Dec. 2012 Delhi Gang Rape- Murder case of Nirbhaya Kand. In past he appeared for Union of India, National Investigation Agency, CBI and Delhi Police in many high profile cases. He also bears distinction of being appointed as a CBI Special Prosecutor in one of the CWG graft cases, Navy War Room Leak case, Nitish Katara Murder case etc. He was also appointed as Special Prosecutor to prosecute a Pakistani Terrorist Tahawwur Rana of attack of 26/11 before Patiala House Court, New Delhi.

Mr. Dayan has good knowledge of Civil and Criminal Laws and is a thorough gentleman and a good Lawyer.
